- First issue around 1980 as a complete crystallographic package based on one unified file system.
- 1984 - first PC version.
- 1990s - first Windows version.
- Until 1990s only Fortran was used, later combination of Visual Basic and Fortran
- Currently a mixture of languages is applied to achieve necessary performance in calcualtions and vizualization.
- In the beginning - four authors - L. Akselrud, Yu. Grin, V. Pecharskii, P. Zavalij.
